Oct26 Oil & Water do not mix

Yes, it has been forever since I’ve posted anything–wasn’t even sure if I’d remember how….

Anyway, here is something I came across today that I thought was quite clever–I love smart, creative ideas!

Jul28 Tech talk: Apple new stuff!

If you’ve ever had any kind of geek/tech conversation with me you know that all I’ve been talking about for the past few months is Apple needing to update [in particular] the desktop Mac Pro line. Well finally they have done it! With some other updates as well! The Mac Pro as always has been a powerhouse–now with updated Intel processors, improved graphics, better hard drive options and more. Find out all the details here: Mac Pro on Apple. Apple also released new iMacs, a new cinema display, and of course the new Magic Trackpad, which is a new peripheral from Apple offering a laptop-style trackpad (that’s right, finger gestures and all) in a 80% larger version for your desktop machine. Some great improvements Apple! Way to steer the ‘big eye’ away from the iPhone 4 antenna flaw.

Mar14 IPHONE 3.0 SOFTWARE TO BE REVEALED

I am finally back from a long and relaxing spring break. It was great because the first thing I get to see when I get back is all over the place the fact that this Tuesday, March 17 Apple will be revealing their newest OS for the iPhone. I am very excited, lots of speculations including copy/paste, tethering to use your ATT service for internet on your laptop, and many others. We’ll see what Tuesday brings, stay tuned for full coverage.

Feb25 SAFARI 4 BETA

So here it is, the next new big and exiting thing from Apple. Safari 4 in Beta release from Apple today is stirring up all over the net. Most everything they are saying about it is true, for example faster navigation, the grid homepage that learns your most visited sites, new interface which is easier to use, the integration of coverflow in searching your bookmarks and entire history. I’ve used it all and I am liking it. I myself have never been much of a Safari fan…until now. I am thinking of transferring over from Firefox 3. Here’s the direct link to the Safari 4 page. Feb25 MICROSOFT RETAIL? SERIOUSLY?

That’s right…it has been confirmed, just as Apple has done for years and years now, Microsoft is starting a dedicated line of “exclusive” retail stores. Could this end up being like the McDonalds/Burger King rivalry? Or is this just going to be like the ever-popular Mac/PC tv spots where our good friend Justin Long always ends up making PC look like a dummy. More power to you Microsoft, God speed!
