My very good friend German Lam of GLAM Foods, llc and I have collaborated to create a great commercial for German’s company! All the production and editing was done by me and had some great help from my friend Meg Rodney as a PA and a model. Hope you enjoy, share with your friends!

Oil & Water do not mix
Yes, it has been forever since I’ve posted anything–wasn’t even sure if I’d remember how….
Anyway, here is something I came across today that I thought was quite clever–I love smart, creative ideas!
Wisdom
Not much I need to say, it just needs to speek for itself.

What’s next for video?
When it comes to movies and video, everyone’s been talking a lot about 3D. It seems that everything is 3D nowadays. But is that REALLY where this is going? I think that the push for 3D was way too fast and too strong and ‘they’ didn’t ease it out to us enough. So as fast as 3D has came alive (as it were), it will probably disappear just as fast. So let’s just say that were the case…so then what could be next? Saw this on Engadget and had to share it. What a cool concept! HDR Video? Who would’ve ever thought? Could somebody have made some kind of plugin for Final Cut that could have done this fake with any video footage? Probably, but it would be like taking one photograph, processing it a bunch of different ways and using all those to create an HDR image–just doesn’t cut it, it’s never the same as having pure raw images. For this experiment, 2 Canon 5D Mk2s were used at different exposures and combined together to create an HDR movie. It think this is very cool and hope it catches on!
Make a YouTube mix tape
Great new website called DragonTape where you can search YouTube and combine a bunch of clips on a timeline and watch them all in succession. Has a great user interface. Works very well, just runs a little slow on my ancient G5 processor.
Shooting for Yummly
Once again, setup today in ‘studio a’ shooting for Yummly with Jim Hooper and Chef German Lam of Glam Foods. We had a great day as usual, stay tuned for more movies!

Tech Talk: YouTube Mobile
YouTube has released a mobile version of their website which I have found works far superior to the default YouTube app–at least on my iPhone 3G with iOS4. Compared to the app, the mobile site seems to be faster, easier to navigate, and plays MUCH improved quality videos (especially with addition of the “HQ” button. On your mobile, the site is: m.youtube.com
Here’s a quick video they posted about it
Sleepbox
Well I just got finished doing a TON of traveling–to the tune of 12 flights in two and half weeks–so this just hit me when I saw it, I would’ve loved something like this!
POST IT MOVIE FOLLOW UP
So yeah…I randomly found this as a follow up to the last movie. I actually like this one better I think.
