What’s Bri been up to?
My very good friend German Lam of GLAM Foods, llc and I have collaborated to create a great commercial for German’s company! All the production and editing was done by me and had some great help from my friend Meg Rodney as a PA and a model. Hope you enjoy, share with your friends!

Seth’s just full of ‘em
I’ve spoke of him before and will continue to do so, but Seth Godin continues to amaze with his incredibly insightful shorts, here’s one of his more recent ones:
Every Monster has a big shadow.
That’s what makes it a monster.
In fact, when you look the monster in the eye, when you calmly and carefully inspect the actual monster, you discover that he’s not so bad after all. It’s just the shadow that’s scary.
When in doubt, ignore the shadow.
Think about it…
One of my favorite and most respected authors of our time, Seth Godin writes very often about anything and everything pertaining to business and marketing. What I love most about him is that he never really pinpoints single industries, but instead speaks very broad and makes you think how it relates to you. Here’s one of his latest blog posts that is one of many that makes me stop and think.
What’s the point?
An idea turns into a meeting and then it turns into a project. People get brought along, there’s free donuts, there’s a whiteboard and even a conference call.It feels like you’re doing the work, but at some point, hopefully, someone asks, “what’s the point of this?”
Is it worth doing?
Compared to everything else we could be investing (don’t say ‘spending’) our time on, is this the scariest, most likely to pay off, most important or the best long-term endeavor?
Or are we just doing it because no one had the guts along the way to say STOP.
Are you doing work worth doing, or are you just doing your job?
Welcome!
Welcome to my new website and blog! Well, the blog has been going for a little while, but be sure to check out my new website! There’s obviously some big changes going on with my business, stay tuned for even more! There will be more and more blog posts so be sure to bookmark my blog or follow my RSS feed!
In the meantime, here are some new pictures of my shared office space I’ve been in for just over 6 months now. I share this space with Liz Abbate Hyman from Someone Creative and Lara Woolfson from Studio Nouveau, enjoy!
I’d also like to send a shout out to 2 of my favorite people, without whom none of my new web stuff would have come to fruition: Liz at Someone Creative, the best designer anyone could ask for, and Jim Webb (Snacksize) whose patience and understanding when it came to developing my site could try a saint. Thanks guys so much!!
RUN MY ERRAND
The new big ‘craze’. Don’t want to bring those letters to the post office? No time to jump away from your desk to get those few extra groceries for tonight’s dinner? Hate waiting in lines for tickets? Check out RUNmyERRAND for all your I’m-too-busy-to-make-15-minutes-to-do-that chores. It does involve a little bit of trust building for these random people that you’d have get your groceries or bring Fluffy to the groomer’s. But to me, what’s more interesting is this business concept not only being a great way to make a little extra money as a ‘runner’ but also as the starter of this type of company. No start up costs (except maybe some marketing/website), no experience required, and could potentially grow very quickly. Very interesting….
