This is a movie that I co-produced with Meg Rodney for a styling/fashion project. From my end, the most notable detail about the production of this piece is that it was shot completely on the Nikon D3s! Full credits are below, enjoy and let us know what you think!!

Aug13 Make a YouTube mix tape

Great new website called DragonTape where you can search YouTube and combine a bunch of clips on a timeline and watch them all in succession. Has a great user interface. Works very well, just runs a little slow on my ancient G5 processor.

Aug09 Brian the videographer?

With some cool new video projects on the horizon, I decided to expand my equipment a bit by building a track dolly for shooting video. It took only a few hours to build (that’s WITH power tools) and just about $120. Here’s a photo of the final product (it can be completely disassembled and all can fit easily in the back of my 2-door Honda Accord) and the first test runs done quickly after we were done. I am syched for this!

Aug04 Seth’s just full of ‘em

I’ve spoke of him before and will continue to do so, but Seth Godin continues to amaze with his incredibly insightful shorts, here’s one of his more recent ones:

Every Monster has a big shadow.

That’s what makes it a monster.

In fact, when you look the monster in the eye, when you calmly and carefully inspect the actual monster, you discover that he’s not so bad after all. It’s just the shadow that’s scary.

When in doubt, ignore the shadow.
